The apartment is located in a corner building between Avenida de Berna and Avenida Marquês de Tomar in the Avenidas Novas neighbourhood, next to Avenida da República, one of the main thoroughfares in the city. Occupied by the upper-middle and upper classes, the neighbourhood is defined by wide two-way streets, landscaped areas and aesthetic coherence in the design of the facades, making the neighbourhood one of the most valued in Lisbon. With the intervention of CVZ Constructions, a new social area was born. A new layout, with more space and brightness, in the kitchen, living room and sanitary facilities. The new space has fixed library furniture and areas of indirect lighting. The new housing emphasises light and space. Creating new interior openings, the kitchen layout is altered to allow continuity and spatial fluidity between the social space defined by the connected rooms.
